Era of new beginnings

Can beginnings be old? if not, then why do we need to specify they are “new”. Maybe its to add the urgency to the task, to the effort at hand. Maybe it is reinforce the idea that this phase is marked with the new insight into our lives. Old wisdom it maybe, new it is to the one who seeks it.
